FUN SPOT BACK TO SCHOOL" PARTY Our group has rented out the Fun Spot
Roller Skating Rink on Thursday, August 12 from 6 pm to 8 pm for a private party.
The ring will be closed to the public at this time, so only our groups' members
and families will be there. The group is paying the admission fee for all members,
spouses and children. You will have to pay the $2 skate fee rental for each pair
of skates you rent. Moms and Dads don't have to rent skates if you don't want to.
Moms and Dad are allowed on the skate floor to help your kids as long as you have on
soft soled shoes or go in your socks. They do have regular skates, speed skates and
the toddler skates that fit over the kid's shoes. For the toddler skates, the kids
must have on tennis shoes. Fun Spot has a beginner ring and the regular ring. Our
group will be giving out attendance prizes for various skating "skills". The prizes
are for adults and kids. So brush up on your skating skills and try not to fall down!!!
It's funny to watch the kids (and parents)fall down and just laugh it off and then go
do it again. Anyone interested in attending needs to RSVP to Natalie by August 9th so I
can purchase tickets and organize the attendance prizes. This is a great event for
kids of all ages and a great chance to meet and catch up with all our MMOM friends.

March Family Fun Night at Korte Rec Center I have scheduled an indoor day of swimming at the Korte Rec Center
in Highland on Sun Feb 28. Our group will pay the admission price for our members and their families.
We will be able to swim from 1 pm until 5:30 pm. The Rec Center pool is setup for kids of all ages.
They have a baby/toddler area that is 0' to 3' that has a play structure in the water with a slide and water spouts,
hoses, ECT. They have a large twisting slide that ends in a pool of 4' water. They have a "lazy river" and a large
area for just swimming. They also have a hot tub for adults only. There is a concession stand and many local restaurants
around the Rec Center. My family visits this center alot during the winter months and my kids love it. It’s a great way
to burn off some cooped up energy and cure cabin fever. Mark your calendars and RSVP to me by Feb 19th.
MMOM Fall Resell-It Sale
Please alot enough time to get there, because a few members got lost coming. We don't want to started late.
We usually go over the sale rules and guidelines and answered
questions. Everyone selling is urged to read the rule sheet we passed out.
The sale is very huge so that is why is to so important that everything be
done the same way. I know some of the new members may think we are a little
over compulsive with the cards and pins, but once they see how it all works,
they hopefully will understand.

MMOM Sellers can shop from 7:00 - 8:00am
MMOM Club Members but not sellers from 7:00 am - 8:00 am
Open to the Public from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Mandatory Sale Meeting. The mandatory sale meeting will be announced shortly normally at 7:30 pm. This meeting does not
take that long but it is necessary so we know who is selling and what they are bringing. As you all know, we have limited
space in the gym at SWIC and our sales seem to grow more every time. Please make sure you are able to attend this meeting.
We will go over the sale rules and get everyone signed up for take down or set up. We are also asking for an idea of what
clothes you will be bringing so we leave adequate space on the sale racks.
FALL Re-Salt it SaleOur group's spring sale is just around the corner,
Our sale is Sept 25 with set up Friday night Sept 24. If you intend on selling you must
be able to attend both Friday night and Saturday. Friday night setup goes much
quicker and smoother with as many helpers as we can get. If you are not selling
but want to shop Friday night after setup, you may do so IF you help set up.
We have sold some VIP passes already. We still have these passes available.
If you know anyone who would like to purchase a VIP pass, please contact Natalie.
MMOM Red T-Shirts- Many Members who participated in the recent sale showed off the new Red T-shirts with our logo on them. If you are interested in purchasing a red t-shirt, please contact Natalie
Member Participation
- This club is for you so please help us out in some way. We are
looking for volunteers in most areas. If you have a special expertise
let us know and we can make room for you to shine! With the lack of members
volunteering, our club's activity will fall greatly! Please volunteer!
If you want to see something happen, help make it happen!
Open Committee Positions - If you are willing to help in any area please contact our president Bumann at mmomclub@yahoo.com. We would love to have you aboard! Librarian committee position is currently open. Please keep in mind that we are all busy moms and this is not a full time job. This is simple volunteer position for a few hours a month.

and keeping track of the yearly dues.
